Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rodtang Wang (ranked 1066 p4p, 867 weight class) and Timo Karlsson (ranked 109 p4p, 93 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rodtang Wang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Timo Karlsson! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karlsson fails with a takedown attempt. Wang has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Average Judas Gym in the buildup to the fight. Karlsson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wang pinned against the cage. Wang gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Karlsson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wang but Wang pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wang was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Rodtang Wang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timo Karlsson. Karlsson fails with a takedown attempt. Karlsson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Karlsson feints the counter takedown. Wang looks to land a left hand but Karlsson moved out of range nicely. Karlsson with the counter takedown but Wang avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A nice leg kick from Wang, right into the meat of the thigh.
Karlsson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wang. Wang jabs Karlsson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wang clinches. Wang misses with a hook from the clinch. Karlsson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A short uppercut from Wang.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Wang lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Karlsson backwards. A short right hand to the side of the head by Wang. Wang lands a left hand.
Wang lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Wang lands a hook that snaps the head of Karlsson backwards. Karlsson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wang pulls his leg out and moves away.
Karlsson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wang but Wang pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wang gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Karlsson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Karlsson passes Wang's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Wang knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Karlsson on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.  That's two minutes gone in the round. Karlsson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Wang is looking for a sweep. Karlsson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Karlsson moves nicely into side control. Karlsson working the ground and pound but Wang is defending the strikes. Karlsson controls the position. Wang on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Karlsson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Karlsson moves into full mount! Karlsson fails to take his opponent's back. Karlsson misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Wang takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Karlsson trying to control but Wang is having none of it. Karlsson lands a big elbow.
Karlsson looking to secure an arm triangle but Wang defends it well. Karlsson lands a big elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Karlsson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Wang can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Karlsson unloads with some shots from mount but Wang bucks and avoids them well.
Wang is squirming around, avoiding Karlsson's attempts to control the action. Karlsson thowing shots but they're missing. Karlsson wants to control the pace but Wang is squirming around nicely. Karlsson in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Karlsson punching from mount but Wang doing a good job of avoiding damage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Timo Karlsson will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Wang throws a looping overhand right but Karlsson ducks down to avoid it. Karlsson dives in for a single leg takedown but Wang sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Wang was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Wang connects with a right hand. Karlsson shakes it off.
 It looks like Timo Karlsson has been cut. Timo Karlsson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wang misses with a hook
and Karlsson counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Wang! Karlsson working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Karlsson working the body and head with strikes. Karlsson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wang can't do much from the bottom here. Wang on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wang tries to get out of the position.
Karlsson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wang is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. We've been informed that Karlsson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Karlsson trying to control the position but Wang is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Karlsson tries for a kimura but Wang is defending well. Karlsson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Wang down.
Karlsson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Timo Karlsson has got the better of the ground game so far.
Karlsson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wang has escaped the position, nice work there. Wang tries to buck Karlsson off but Karlsson is having none of it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Wang wants to control but Karlsson postures up. Wang dodges the ground and pound from Karlsson. Karlsson in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Karlsson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wang knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Karlsson is looking to take a break and control but Wang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Karlsson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Karlsson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wang, who protects the arm well. Karlsson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wang tries to bench press Karlsson off him but Karlsson keeps the position. Karlsson lands an elbow. Karlsson trying to control the action but Wang is working from the bottom. Wang avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Karlsson. Karlsson is looking to take a break and control but Wang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Karlsson working the ground and pound. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Timo Karlsson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Timo Karlsson's cut. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Karlsson landing strikes. Karlsson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wang keeps working. Karlsson looks up at the clock and then as Wang takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Karlsson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Karlsson seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Wang has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Karlsson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Karlsson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Karlsson explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Wang throws a big shot that misses. Wang misses with a straight right. Karlsson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wang avoids it really well and circles away. Rodtang Wang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wang tests Karlsson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Karlsson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Karlsson tries to keep at a distance but Wang has taken the fight into the clinch.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Wang scores with an uppercut up the middle. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Wang creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Wang lands a nice uppercut. Karlsson is working for takedown but Wang is calmly controlling the position for now. Rodtang Wang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timo Karlsson. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wang takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Karlsson is trying to drag Wang to the mat but Wang just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Wang tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Karlsson's elbow. Wang lands with a short head shot on the inside. Rodtang Wang has scored more points in the clinch so far. Wang lands a left hand.
Wang just leaning against Karlsson, taking a breather. Karlsson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Wang is defending well. Wang lands a right hand. A nice right hand lands inside from Wang. Wang gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Karlsson.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Wang makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wang lands a right hand that snaps the head of Karlsson backwards. Karlsson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Karlsson goes for a takedown attempt but Wang pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

And that's the end of the fight! Rodtang Wang showed his dominance in that final round. I think Karlsson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Timo Karlsson! In his post fight interview, Timo Karlsson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
