Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eugene Park (ranked 347 p4p, 1609 weight class) and Flynn Ryder (ranked 32 p4p, 146 weight class). Park comes to the cage accompanied by LOST IN THE ECHO - Linkin Park. Ryder has chosen Australian National Anthem as his entrance music. Flynn Ryder will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eugene Park! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Flynn Ryder! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Park fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ryder, pushing him back against the cage.
Park has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ryder regains guard immediately.
Ryder is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Park passes easily into side control. Nice work. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Park postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Park tries to move to mount but Ryder blocks the move with his legs. Ryder tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Park landing shots from mount. Ryder wants to control but Park is having none of it. Park connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ryder is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Park has taken his back.
Park is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Ryder defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Ryder is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Ryder rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Ryder manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Park keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Park gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Park looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Ryder looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ryder pushes Park off looking to stand but Park dives back in and keeps control.
Park has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Park throwing shots but Ryder is blocking nicely. Ryder is trying to stand.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Park trying to mount his opponent but Ryder defends it. Ryder trying to hold on to Park's head to control him but Park postures up.
Park prevents Ryder from standing back up.
Ryder is looking to improve his position.
Park maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Ryder could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Park has cracked it and Ryder is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Park!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Eugene Park! Eugene Park retains his bantamweight title! Eugene Park was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. In defeat, Flynn Ryder stepped up to the mic, saying 'Folks want me to just ride off onto the sunset but no… I’ll be back and ready to swing for the fences… Mark my words, this isn’t the last you’ve seen of me!!!!'.
