Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kaven Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Cuba Carlsson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlsson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Murphy but Murphy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Murphy instigates a clinch.
Carlsson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Murphy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Murphy digs a right hand underneath Carlsson's ribcage. Carlsson let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Murphy creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Carlsson's defenses.
It looks like Cuba Carlsson has been cut.
Murphy is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Kaven Murphy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cuba Carlsson.
Murphy lands a right hand.
Carlsson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Murphy fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carlsson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Murphy swivels and escapes.
Murphy drives through and clinches with Carlsson against the cage.
Murphy lands an elbow inside that Carlsson shrugs off.
Carlsson can't get the takedown.

Carlsson jumps into guard, dragging Murphy to the mat.

Carlsson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Murphy is aware though and is defending well.
Carlsson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Murphy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Carlsson looking for a triangle here. Murphy is fighting it but it looks tight! Carlsson pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Murphy is tapping out - this one is all over!
