The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Goon or perhaps it was just good defense by Thompson, which made it look bad.
As Goon backs off Thompson throws a huge counter combo but Goon manages to avoid it all.
Thompson throws a leg kick that misses.
Thompson throws a hook to the side of Goon's head but Goon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Goon darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Goon moves out of range of the body kick from Thompson.
Goon appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Goon scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Thompson gets caught napping as Goon dives in and scores a takedown. Thompson manages to retain guard.
Thompson kicks Goon off and gets to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Thompson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Goon sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Goon throws a quick inside leg kick.

Thompson throws a series of punches but Goon avoids them all with ease.
A punch lands to the side of Thompson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Goon throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Thompson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Goon eats them both and turns towards Thompson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Garry Thompson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Thompson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Goon.
Thompson misses with a jab, cross combination.

Thompson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Goon lands a jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Goon counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Thompson! He's just covering up as Goon starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
