Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Long!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanchard throws a leg kick
enabling Long to counter with a crisp jab.
A low kick from Blanchard misses
and Long counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Blanchard throws a lazy uppercut
letting Long counter with a right hand.
Blanchard throws a head kick that misses.
Long lands a big head kick that sends Blanchard tumbling to the mat! Long takes a step backwards and waves Blanchard back to his feet - he wants the finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Long is pushing Blanchard up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Long is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Blanchard is keeping busy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Blanchard steps in with a hook that catches Long right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Blanchard follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Long looks absolutely devastated.
