Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Milton Viera (ranked 442 p4p, 323 weight class) and Zander McGuire (ranked 52 p4p, 37 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Milton Viera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 2, fighting out of New York, Zander McGuire!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Viera shoots for a takedown but McGuire saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Viera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGuire takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
