The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rvck misses the shot to the body.
A little jabbing left from Vargas Llosa on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Rvck throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Vargas Llosa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Blak Rvck has been cut.
Rvck lands a nice shot that snaps Vargas Llosa's head back.
Rvck misses with a body kick.
Vargas Llosa lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Rvck throws a series of punches but Vargas Llosa avoids them all with ease.
Vargas Llosa lands the left hand.
Rvck lands an overhand right.
Vargas Llosa cracks Rvck with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Vargas Llosa has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rvck to stand back up!
Rvck is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rvck throws an off balance right hand
and Vargas Llosa counters with a good, hard body kick but Rvck shrugs it off.
Oh Rvck is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rvck is breathing heavily.
Rvck walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Rvck limp body while Vargas Llosa jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mario Vargas Llosa!
