Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hamed Juniorss (ranked 1406 p4p, 1120 weight class) and Cole Steel (ranked 176 p4p, 145 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Hamed Juniorss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Cole Steel! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Juniorss throws a lazy uppercut
and Steel counters with a lovely straight right hand! Steel defending well as Juniorss loads up on a big left hand. Steel misses with a shot to the body letting Juniorss counter with a right hand. A punch combination from Juniorss misses. Cole Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Juniorss gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Steel avoids a kick to the body.
Steel pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Juniorss looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Steel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Juniorss was covering up waiting for the punch and Steel finishes the takedown easily into guard. Steel wants to pass the guard but Juniorss is keeping the position. Steel trying to control but Juniorss is working from the bottom.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Steel showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Steel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Juniorss is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Juniorss's coaches at have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Steel prevents Juniorss from standing back up.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Juniorss wants to control but Steel is keeping busy.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Juniorss tries to get out of the position. Juniorss is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Steel with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Juniorss moves out of range as Steel strikes. Juniorss doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Steel walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Juniorss throws a sloppy head kick and Steel moves out of range easily. A jab from Juniorss misses. Steel cracks Juniorss with a good jab.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel cracks Juniorss with an open hand slap.
Steel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Juniorss did well to prevent Steel getting side control. Steel stalling.
Steel is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Juniorss doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Steel. Juniorss is positioning himself well to prevent Steel advancing to mount.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Steel winds up and cracks Juniorss with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Juniorss is not content to let Steel control the position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steel trying to control from half guard but Juniorss is working away. Steel sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Juniorss defending well though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Juniorss makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Juniorss. Juniorss working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Steel. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Cole Steel dominated that round. That's time! Juniorss's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Steel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Juniorss.
Steel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Steel has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Juniorss tried to score with a low kick but Steel checks it. Steel shoots in for a takedown but Juniorss shows good takedown defense. Steel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Steel looks to land a left hand but Juniorss moved out of range nicely. Juniorss needs to keep his hands up - Steel had a free shot at his head there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steel throws a body shot but no joy. Juniorss throws a big shot that misses. Steel looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Steel dives in and scores a takedown into Juniorss's guard. Juniorss is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Steel trying to control but Juniorss postures up.
Steel is looking to improve his position.
Steel keeps trying to improve his position. Juniorss is pressing down on Steel's thigh, looking to free his foot. Steel is holding on for now. Steel holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Steel gets full guard. Steel controlling the position.
Juniorss got a little sloppy there for a moment and Steel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Juniorss has managed to get both his arms back between Steel's legs - danger averted.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Steel pulls Juniorss in close to prevent any damage. Steel working a defensive guard here.
Steel wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Steel trying to keep a closed guard but Juniorss is proving a slippery customer.
Juniorss tries to free his leg and advance position but Steel is retaining full guard. Steel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Juniorss is one step ahead there.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel misses with a hook. It looked like Juniorss wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. A decent looking cross lands there for Steel. A slow jab from Steel misses its intended target. Steel fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Juniorss looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Steel scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Steel moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Juniorss misses with a hook
and Steel counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Steel throws a right and a left that both miss. Juniorss throws a quick counter head kick but Steel was just out of range. Juniorss steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Steel. Juniorss is looking to counter punch. A combination from Steel does no damage. Juniorss moves out of range as Steel strikes.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Juniorss closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Juniorss throws a jab when Steel was well out of range. Steel throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Steel uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Steel tests Juniorss's chin there with a solid looking shot. Steel takes one to the chin there.
 It looks like Cole Steel has been cut. Steel connects with a nice looking jab.
Steel lands the left hand. Steel throws a combination that misses enabling Juniorss to counter with a crisp jab. Steel throws a series of strikes that have Juniorss backpedaling.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Cole Steel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Cole Steel's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Juniorss connects with a body shot. Steel connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Juniorss momentarily.
Juniorss on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A looping hook to the body misses from Juniorss. Steel does a little dance to reset his feet. Steel lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Juniorss bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Juniorss looks to throw the jab but Steel is out of range. Juniorss doesn't manage to clinch there - Steel circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Juniorss misses with a wild body shot. A big right from Steel misses. Juniorss is looking to counter punch. Steel throws a lazy right hand but Juniorss sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Juniorss takes a swing at Steel's ribcage but misses.

Juniorss avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Cole Steel seems to be getting the better of the standup. Decent striking displayed by Steel there. Steel looks to land a combination but Juniorss avoids it well. Steel lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Juniorss backs up against the cage.
Steel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Steel scores with a decent looking hook. A swing and a miss from Steel. Juniorss swings for the body but Steel moves out of range.
Steel closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Juniorss's guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Steel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Steel throws an elbow that misses. Juniorss uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Steel's guard. Nice move by Juniorss!

 Juniorss knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Steel on the ground. Steel looking to pass the guard. Steel wants to control from the top but Juniorss keeps moving. Steel passes into half guard. Steel working Juniorss over with strikes. Steel controlling the action here. Steel tries to pass to full mount but Juniorss defends it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Steel throwing shots but Juniorss is blocking nicely. Hamed Juniorss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Steel throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Steel content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Steel working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Steel passes to side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Cole Steel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Steel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
