Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yossi Bissoma (ranked 1170 p4p, 560 weight class) and Yuto Yoshida (ranked 155 p4p, 77 weight class). Yossi Bissoma could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Yuto Yoshida's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yossi Bissoma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yuto Yoshida!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bissoma throws a shot from downtown. Yoshida moves away and avoids it.
Yoshida jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Bissoma with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

It looks like Yossi Bissoma has been cut.
Bissoma throws a looping overhand right but Yoshida ducks down to avoid it.
Bissoma misses the shot to the body.
Yoshida throws out a counter right but Bissoma avoids it with no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yoshida cracks Bissoma with a nice body shot.
Yoshida escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

We've been told by Bissoma's head coaches at Wolfpack Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Yoshida has closed the distance and engaged Bissoma in a clinch.
Yoshida's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yoshida lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Bissoma tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Yoshida throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Bissoma is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Yuto Yoshida!
Yuto Yoshida was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
