Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akahoshi Hisashi (ranked 591 p4p, 1151 weight class) and Matsuda Takeshi (ranked 70 p4p, 137 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hisashi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Feng Shui. Akahoshi Hisashi has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Hisashi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Takeshi sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hisashi stalks Takeshi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Takeshi's face. Takeshi staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Matsuda Takeshi has been cut.
Takeshi shoots in looking for a takedown but Hisashi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Takeshi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A nice combination there by Hisashi.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Takeshi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hisashi is now in Takeshi's guard. A big mistake from Takeshi there, giving up the dominant position!
Hisashi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
