Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shavkat Buckley (ranked 2787 p4p, 2808 weight class) and Rokky Toyota (ranked 316 p4p, 319 weight class). Buckley comes to the cage accompanied by ÜLKENDER (Taū adam). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shavkat Buckley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rokky Toyota!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toyota misses with a takedown attempt
and Buckley counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Toyota thinking.

and Buckley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Toyota's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Buckley connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Toyota scrambles back to his feet.
Toyota swings for the body but Buckley moves out of range.

Toyota working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
We've been hearing good reports from Buckley's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Buckley has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Toyota is on him like a limpet, forcing Buckley back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Buckley connects with a nice looking jab.
Toyota lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Buckley stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Buckley wants it to stay on the feet.
Buckley was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Buckley thuds his right hand into Toyota's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

He tries to recover but Buckley pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Toyota is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shavkat Buckley!
A determined Shavkat Buckley didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
