Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Larry Kings (ranked 3732 p4p, 22964 weight class) and Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Larry Kings! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 58 - 116 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clifford Val Salvacion! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salvacion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kings sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kings drops down looking for a counter takedown but Salvacion sprawls and moves away. Kings will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kings looks for a takedown but Salvacion sprawls well. Kings definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kings misses with a takedown attempt - Salvacion sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Kings manages to step out the way in time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Larry Kings. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kings tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Salvacion swivels and escapes.
Kings darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kings is controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kings wants to free his trapped foot but Salvacion is holding on for dear life with his legs.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kings looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Salvacion trying to control but Kings postures up.

 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Kings scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Kings working the ground and pound but Salvacion is defending the strikes. The referee asks Kings politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kings prefers to stall for the moment though.
Kings decides to stand up, so the ref orders Salvacion to his feet.
Kings darts in and clinches Salvacion up against the cage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kings is trying to trip Salvacion. He has hold of a leg but Salvacion is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kings persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Kings engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Kings stands up from Salvacion's guard - Kings perhaps looking for a knockout. Kings shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Salvacion doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kings counters into the clinch. Nicely done. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Larry Kings dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Kings bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kings stands up. Kings fails with a takedown attempt. Salvacion looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Salvacion gets tackled into the cage by Kings. Kings maintains the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kings gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kings looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Kings is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Salvacion can do to turn this around?
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kings trying to control the pace. Larry Kings overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Salvacion has hold of Kings's hands but Kings slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Kings looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Salvacion with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kings content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kings postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Salvacion to stand up.

Kings stalling against the cage.
Kings manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Salvacion has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kings to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Salvacion is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kings pulls down on the head and he's put Salvacion to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Larry Kings! Larry Kings was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
