PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sir Arthur Conan Bong (ranked 4023 p4p, 3992 weight class) and Bob Dillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sir Arthur Conan Bong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Dillon!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Dillon counters with a single leg into guard. Conan Bong didn't expect that.
Dillon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Conan Bong's head.
Dillon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Conan Bong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dillon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dillon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dillon can do anything to dispel that myth.

Conan Bong drops back looking for a leg! Dillon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dillon manages to kick Conan Bong off! Conan Bong jumps back into Dillon's guard.

Dillon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Conan Bong's guard.

Dillon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Dillon is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Conan Bong will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Dillon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Conan Bong knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Conan Bong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dillon is aware though and is defending well.

Conan Bong isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dillon stacks Conan Bong on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dillon!

Dillon stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Conan Bong is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dillon is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

I've got Dillon winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
