Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Kea Ada (ranked 4047 p4p, 4890 weight class) and Mark Jourdain (ranked 326 p4p, 348 weight class). Jourdain has chosen Back on My BS as his entrance music. The key to victory for Kea Ada has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kea Ada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Jourdain!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jourdain showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ada.
Jourdain takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jourdain looks to land a combination but Ada avoids it well.
Jourdain swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jourdain misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jourdain doesn't manage to clinch there - Ada circles away.

Jourdain avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

and Ada counters with a stiff right hand.

Jourdain tries to bum rush Ada with a series of wild strikes but Ada uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jourdain's coach down at WOKE MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jourdain's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Ada attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Jourdain bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jourdain swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Ada feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jourdains jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fight stays on the outside here - Jourdain looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jourdain wants to clinch up but Ada keeps it at a distance.
Ada swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Jourdain is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ada throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jourdain stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ada is looking to clinch but Jourdain is avoiding it.
Jourdain unleashes a big counter combination but Ada bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
A bone on bone clash there as Jourdain blocks the leg kick.

Jourdain lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Ada will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Jourdain is still on wobbly legs! Can Ada finish him?

Jourdain moves in looking to clinch but Ada pushes him off.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ada staggers Jourdain with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Jourdain looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Ada is victorious!
