Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tate Dillon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Leroy Black!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dillon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Black paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tate Dillon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Dillon lands an overhand right.
Dillon looks to land a combination but Black avoids it well.
As Dillon backs off Black throws a huge counter combo but Dillon manages to avoid it all.
Dillon avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dillon was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Dillon misses the shot to the body.
Dillon connects with a looping right hand.
Dillon misses with an uppercut.
Dillon throws a series of punches but Black moves out of range.
Black lands a left and a right that send Dillon crashing to the mat, dazed. Black thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dillon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Black.
Black drives through with a takedown into Dillon's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Dillon is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Black working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dillon's head.
Oh Dillon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Black gets to his feet and stands over Dillon, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Dillon felt that one! Black unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Dillon from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leroy Black!
