Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Lee (ranked 2087 p4p, 1739 weight class) and Grappling Panda (ranked 200 p4p, 168 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Doomsday Clock. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeff Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Grappling Panda! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee tries to clinch there but Panda circles away.
Nice defenses there by Panda. Panda keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Panda steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Lee. Lee throws a hook to the side of Panda's head but Panda sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Panda gets caught napping as Lee dives in and scores a takedown. Panda manages to retain guard. Panda controlling the position. Lee loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Panda controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lee is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Panda is controlling Lee's posture.

I've been told that Panda has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game.

Lee tries to lock up and control but Panda gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Lee is wriggling around trying to escape.

Grappling Panda dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
A telegraphed right hand from Lee misses the target. Panda tries to counter by closing the distance. Lee misses with an uppercut. Panda tries to counter by closing the distance. Panda circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Panda clinches up with Lee and pushes him back against the cage. Panda has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Panda tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Panda pulls guard. Lee trying to control but Panda is working from the bottom. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Panda holds on and takes a little breather. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lee is fighting to break Panda's control of his arms but Panda is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Panda is continuing to stall. Lee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lee drops back, looking for a kneebar! Panda looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Panda looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Panda!
Lee is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Panda is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Panda controlling the position easily from mount. Lee is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Lee tries to improve his position but instead Panda has taken his back! Panda controls the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee wants to escape the position.
Well, with Panda on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Lee is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Lee just trying to survive but Panda is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Grappling Panda has got the better of the ground game so far. Lee is trying to break free.
Panda is not going to allow Lee to sit and survive in this position. Panda trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Lee doesn't escape. Lee wants to escape the position.
Lee is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Panda keeps control of the position as Lee tries to break free.
Lee turns into Panda and is now in his guard.

Grappling Panda showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Panda gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. I was talking to Lee's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Panda's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Panda jumps guard and drags Lee to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Panda managing to control the position. Lee is looking for a triangle here but Panda uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lee gets back to half guard. Lee is looking to improve his position.

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Panda paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nice uppercut there from Lee. Panda moves out of range as Lee strikes.
Panda closes the distance and clinches. Lee fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Panda tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lee smiles and moves away.

Panda rushes Lee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Panda tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lee just stands there and leans against the cage. Panda has Lee pushed against the cage. Panda tries to pull guard but Lee holds him up against the cage and eventually Panda drops back down to his feet.
Jeff Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grappling Panda. Lee lands a hook that snaps the head of Panda backwards.

Lee throws a strike but Panda rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Lee throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lee flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Grappling Panda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Panda winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
