Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobo Valdenius (ranked 2158 p4p, 1392 weight class) and Porthos Knox (ranked 253 p4p, 185 weight class). Knox has chosen One Step Closer | Linkin Park as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Porthos Knox was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valdenius slips under a jab from Knox.
Valdenius connects with a looping right hand.
Valdenius looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Knox swings widly with a right hand
and Valdenius counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Knox scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Valdenius manages to mount him!

Knox is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Knox stops Valdenius from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Valdenius goes for an armbar but Knox turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Knox.
Valdenius is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Knox rolls with it to try and escape but Valdenius cranks on the arm and Knox is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
