Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between King Kong Jones (ranked 765 p4p, 463 weight class) and Bruce Hardman (ranked 85 p4p, 53 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, King Kong Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruce Hardman!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardman throws a low kick but it's checked well by Jones.
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hardman swivels and escapes.
Hardman changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Jones takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Hardman is just out of range.

and Jones counters with a nice uppercut.
Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hardman throws out the jab.
Hardman throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hardman has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Jones shoots in for a double leg but Hardman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Jones swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hardman throws the left hand but Jones avoids the punch easily.
Hardman lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jones's sensitive parts.

Jones keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hardman cracks Jones with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Jones looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Jones shoots in and bounces Hardman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hardman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hardman isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jones stacks Hardman on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jones!

Hardman is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

I really don't envy Hardman right now.
Jones has got his arm under Hardman's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Hardman has spun round into Jones's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Jones is pulling down on Hardman's head. It's preventing any offense from Hardman, at least for the moment.

Hardman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hardman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
