Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ayinde Adeyemi (ranked 481 p4p, 558 weight class) and Erik Bjornsson (ranked 70 p4p, 78 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Erik Bjornsson!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adeyemi lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Erik Bjornsson has been cut.
Adeyemi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A little feinted left hand from Adeyemi on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Adeyemi misses the jab.
Bjornsson throws out a counter right but Adeyemi avoids it with no problem.
Adeyemi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Adeyemi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Adeyemi throws the left hand but Bjornsson avoids the punch easily.
Bjornsson doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Adeyemi bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adeyemi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bjornsson.
Bjornsson throws a poor cross that misses
and Adeyemi counters with a straight right hand.
Bjornsson lands a glancing blow to the side of Adeyemi's head.

Bjornsson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Bjornsson ducks under a wild hook from Adeyemi.
Bjornsson doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Adeyemi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Adeyemi throws an off balance right hand
and Bjornsson counters with a nice uppercut.
Bjornsson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bjornsson sends Adeyemi crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bjornsson is motioning to the referee to let Adeyemi up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Adeyemi is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Adeyemi throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bjornsson counters with a huge left! Adeyemi is in big trouble! He's backing up but Bjornsson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Adeyemi from any more damage. A dominating finish by Bjornsson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Erik Bjornsson!
