Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willie Burnett (ranked 2170 p4p, 1773 weight class) and Thomas Galvan (ranked 241 p4p, 212 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Willie Burnett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Thomas Galvan!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burnett takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Galvan looks to land a right hand but Burnett moved out of range.
Burnett throws an overhand right that lands on Galvan's shoulder, as Galvan tries to avoid the shot.
Galvan fails to land with a series of punches.
It looked like Burnett wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Galvan misses with a right hand
and Galvan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Galvan throws a looping overhand right but Burnett ducks down to avoid it.
A counter left hand to the body from Burnett misses its target.
Galvan doesn't manage to clinch there - Burnett circles away.
Galvan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Galvan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Galvan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Burnett counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Galvan wants to clinch but Burnett slips to the side
and Burnett counters with a crisp right hand that drops Galvan! Burnett lets Galvan back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Galvan is rocked!
It looks like Thomas Galvan has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Burnett fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Galvan out cold! Brutal finish!
