And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Baker!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker wants to clinch.
A head kick misses from Baker.
Baker takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Matthews connects with a nice looking jab.
Matthews is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Matthews connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Baker momentarily.
Baker looks to clinch
and Baker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Baker is rocked!
Matthews buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Baker is still on wobbly legs! Can Matthews finish him?
Baker dives in and grabs Matthews's left leg, looking for a takedown. Matthews pushes down on Baker's head and hops out.
Baker is holding his hands too far apart here. Matthews throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Baker is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
