Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maximillian Herman (ranked 1849 p4p, 23700 weight class) and Changa Pachanga (ranked 233 p4p, 493 weight class). Changa Pachanga will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Maximillian Herman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Changa Pachanga! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pachanga jabs at Herman's body.
Pachanga moves into the clinch successfully.
Herman goes for a takedown attempt but Pachanga pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Pachanga avoids the body shot from Herman.
Pachanga unleashes a big counter combination but Herman bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Herman closes the distance and pushes Pachanga back into the cage.
Pachanga breaks from the clinch.
Pachanga is looking to take this fight into the clinch. We've been hearing reports that Herman has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. A chopping leg kick lands by Pachanga. Pachanga tries to clinch and Herman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Herman connects with a crisp jab. Pachanga throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Herman takes a kick to the side of the head. A head kick by Pachanga misses and Herman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pachanga lands with a nice body punch.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Pachanga misses with a leg kick
and Herman counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Herman prevents Pachanga from improving his position. Herman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pachanga's head. Pachanga avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Herman. Pachanga has hold of Herman's hands but Herman slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Pachanga slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Pachanga controls Herman momentarily but Herman frees himself. Herman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Pachanga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Herman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pachanga looking to control.
Herman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pachanga keeping moving, preventing Herman from controlling successfully.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Herman scoring with some ground and pound. Pachanga is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Pachanga not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Herman is working Pachanga over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Herman scoring with punches to the head and body. Herman is looking to work some ground and pound but Pachanga has wrist control. Herman tries to free his leg and advance position but Pachanga is retaining full guard. Herman connects with a couple of short punches. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Herman keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pachanga's head. Herman is in close to Pachanga's body, working some short punches and elbows. Herman is working Pachanga over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Pachanga looking for a sweep. Not yet Pachanga, not yet. Herman is standing up over Pachanga. Pachanga looks to escape but Herman dives into side control.
Pachanga is working to avoid the ground and pound but Herman connects with a decent elbow. A lull in the action here as Herman stalls from top position. Herman looks up at the clock and then as Pachanga takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Herman smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Pachanga is looking for a sweep. Herman lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Pachanga down.
Herman creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Herman grinds an elbow into Pachanga's temple. Pachanga taking a bit of punishment here - Herman scoring with strikes.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Pachanga tries to escape but Herman is in control. Herman is looking to take a break and control but Pachanga is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pachanga can do anything to dispel that myth. Herman works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Herman in side control lands a decent elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pachanga is looking for a sweep. Pachanga is not content to let Herman control the position. Herman working the ground and pound. Herman trying to control the action but Pachanga is working from the bottom. Herman scores with punches from side control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Maximillian Herman dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Pachanga throws a sloppy head kick and Herman counters with a lovely straight right hand! Pachanga throws a sloppy head kick and Herman counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Pachanga off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Herman follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Pachanga was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Maximillian Herman!
