The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Lamb. No joy for Hall on that attempt.
Lamb fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hall, pushing him back against the cage.
We've been hearing reports that Hall has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Lamb tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hall avoids it.
Hall is stalling here.
Hall tries for a takedown but Lamb manages to get underhooks.
Lamb on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Lamb is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Hall. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lamb with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Lamb misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hall.
Hall tightens his grip and picks Lamb up, before dumping him to the ground. Lamb manages to land in guard.
Hall is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Hall drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Hall seems to have locked his on tight now - Lamb screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Hall, as he picks up the win!
