Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Olly Holy (ranked 327 p4p, 240 weight class) and Harry Alonzo Longabaugh (ranked 51 p4p, 34 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Olly Holy! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 29 - 15 - 1, fighting out of New York, Harry Alonzo Longabaugh! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holy fails with a takedown attempt. Longabaugh connects with a single shot there. Longabaugh misses with an uppercut. Holy saw that one coming. Good exchange - Longabaugh coming out on top. Longabaugh throws a sloppy head kick and Holy moves out of range easily. A big left from Longabaugh misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holy closes the distance and clinches up with Longabaugh, looking for a takedown. Holy pushes Longabaugh against the cage but Longabaugh circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A looping hook to the body misses from Longabaugh. Holy does a little dance to reset his feet. Longabaugh throws a body shot but no joy. Holy avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Longabaugh swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Holy moves into range and clinches up with Longabaugh.
Longabaugh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Holy darts in looking for a takedown but Longabaugh gets double underhooks and turns Holy into the cage. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Longabaugh! But no joy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Olly Holy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Holy is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Longabaugh to keep the fight standing.
Holy has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Longabaugh uses from the top position. Longabaugh tries to free his leg and advance position but Holy is retaining full guard.
Holy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Holy has his foot on Longabaugh's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Longabaugh works his way back into a safe position though. Holy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Longabaugh is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Longabaugh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Holy working a defensive guard here.
Holy looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Longabaugh has picked Holy up and slammed him! Holy can't keep hold of the triangle and Longabaugh manages to pass to side control! Longabaugh moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Holy manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Longabaugh tries to roll over but Holy keeps him under control. Holy moves into full mount! Longabaugh won't be happy about that! Holy content just to control the position here. Longabaugh is squirming around, avoiding Holy's attempts to control the action. Holy controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holy trying to control but Longabaugh is having none of it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Longabaugh tries to reverse the position but Holy maintains control. Holy controlling his opponent. Longabaugh is working to get back to half guard.
Holy avoids the attempt from Longabaugh to control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Longabaugh is squirming around, avoiding Holy's attempts to control the action. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Harry Alonzo Longabaugh will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Longabaugh slaps away a takedown attempt from Holy, before circling back to the center of the mat. Holy slips a straight right by Longabaugh. Holy looks for a takedown but Longabaugh sprawls well.
Longabaugh clinches up with Holy and pushes him back against the cage. Longabaugh is trying to push Holy away but Holy has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Longabaugh swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Longabaugh lands a hook to the side of the head. Longabaugh tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Longabaugh swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Longabaugh misses with a hook from the clinch. Longabaugh throws a punch but it's blocked by Holy. Longabaugh looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Longabaugh misses with some punches.
Holy blocking some punches.
Holy blocks a body shot from Longabaugh. Holy jumps guard but Longabaugh stands there with Holy around his waist. Holy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Holy gets control of Longabaugh's arms and successfully pulls guard. Holy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Holy passes into half guard. Longabaugh is refusing to be controlled, as Holy sits in half guard. Holy uses his free foot to push down on Longabaugh's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Longabaugh. Longabaugh is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Holy tries to control but Longabaugh wriggling away. Holy looking to control and managing it successfully. Holy tries to control but Longabaugh wriggling away. Longabaugh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Holy throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Longabaugh has his hands clasped together but Holy breaks the hold and Longabaugh is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Holy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Olly Holy! Olly Holy retains his welterweight title! A very excited looking Olly Holy made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
