Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rowan Branch (ranked 563 p4p, 1453 weight class) and Haruki Fujimoto (ranked 75 p4p, 169 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Branch might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Head Of The Table. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rowan Branch!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Haruki Fujimoto!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujimoto misses with an uppercut. Branch saw that one coming.
Fujimoto uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Branch.
Fujimoto misses the jab.
A little feinted left hand from Branch on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Fujimoto looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Fujimoto takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fujimoto throws a hook to the side of Branch's head but Branch sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Branch appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Branch throws a body shot but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fujimoto misses with a hook. Branch ducked under it nicely.
Branch just misses with a punch to the body.
Branch tries to move into range but Fujimoto moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.

and Branch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Branch lands a glancing blow to the side of Fujimoto's head.
It looks like Haruki Fujimoto has been cut.
Fujimoto staying out of range there.
Fujimoto throws a lazy uppercut
and Branch counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fujimoto thinking.
Fujimoto misses the jab.
Branch swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Fujimoto takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fujimoto slips a straight right by Branch.
Branch definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fujimoto walks into a stiff left hand from Branch.
Branch waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Fujimoto.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice defenses there by Branch.
A little feinted left hand from Branch on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Branch scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Branch cracks Fujimoto with a right hand to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Fujimoto takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Branch counters with a crisp right hand that drops Fujimoto! Branch lets Fujimoto back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Fujimoto is rocked!
Fujimoto swings widly with a right hand
and Branch counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Fujimoto out cold! What a finish! Branch is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rowan Branch!
