Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Merab Murkovitch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kaden Nox!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murkovitch lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Nox at a distance.
Nox takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Nox enables Murkovitch to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nox manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Nox is rocked!
Murkovitch sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nox's guard.
Nox is still in real trouble! Can Murkovitch finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Murkovitch controlling the action here.
Murkovitch uses his free foot to push down on Nox's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nox.
Nox wants to control but Murkovitch is having none of it.
Nox seems to have recovered his senses.
Nox is in a horrible position here. Murkovitch smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The referee warns Nox that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Murkovitch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nox is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Nox working to try and regain half guard.

Murkovitch looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Nox tries to lock up and control but Murkovitch gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Murkovitch looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Murkovitch lands a big shot there that rocks Nox but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Nox is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nox wants to control but Murkovitch is having none of it.
Nox tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nox is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Nox in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Murkovitch content just to control the position here.
Nox is desperately trying to improve his position but Murkovitch has a good base and remains in mount.
Murkovitch sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Murkovitch moves to back control.
Nox is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Murkovitch off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Murkovitch has got one arm under Nox's chin. This could be trouble... Nox trying to control the other hand but Murkovitch gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Nox has tapped out! The fight is over!

During a confident post fight interview, Merab Murkovitch thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
