Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hammer Dean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 132 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrzej Bebok!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bebok shoots for a takedown but Dean saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bebok darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Dean has one foot on Bebok's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Bebok tries for a takedown but Dean circles away easily
and Dean counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Bebok avoiding damage as Dean throws knees to the body.
Bebok blocks an uppercut.
Dean breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bebok with a poor takedown
and Dean counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Bebok down! Dean is looking to finish but Bebok is intelligently defending himself.
Bebok is rocked!
Hammer Dean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrzej Bebok.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dean is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dean stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Bebok drives through and clinches with Dean against the cage.
Our sources have told us that Dean has been working on his elbows in the gym.
Bebok misses with a hook from the clinch.
Dean tries a body shot but Bebok blocks it.
Dean tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bebok avoids it.
Dean stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Dean pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dean misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bebok closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dean's guard.
Dean pushes Bebok off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A low kick from Bebok is predictable there
and Dean counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dean closes the distance and clinches.
Dean lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bebok prevents a body shot from Dean.
Dean throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Beboks head.
Dean creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Bebok's defenses.
It looks like Andrzej Bebok has been cut.
Dean escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bebok throws a leg kick that is checked
and Dean counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Bebok badly! Dean follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Bebok out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Dean finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Hammer Dean!
After the big win, Hammer Dean made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Dont Strive To Survive and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
