Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Drago (ranked 345 p4p, 1144 weight class) and Rex Amwano (ranked 22 p4p, 53 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rex Amwano!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago lands a jab to Amwano's midsection.
Drago looks to land a combination but Amwano avoids it well.
Drago works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Rex Amwano has been cut.
Drago throws a jab when Amwano was well out of range.
Amwano throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Drago throws a body shot but no joy.
Drago lands a left and a right that send Amwano crashing to the mat, dazed. Drago thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Amwano is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Amwano gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Drago gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Amwano is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Igor Drago!
