The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yevgenievich throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Yevgenievich has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Yevgenievich instigates a clinch.
Yevgenievich tries to score a body lock takedown but Mboko shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Yevgenievich is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Mboko is defending well.
Yevgenievich tries for a takedown but Mboko manages to get underhooks.
Lamine Mboko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sapozhnikov Yevgenievich.
Mboko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yevgenievich is defended easily by Mboko.
Mboko lands a big right hook! Yevgenievich looks hurt but is still standing! Mboko lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Yevgenievich falls down and Mboko dives in with a huge hammer fist! Yevgenievich's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Mboko runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
