Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gavin Windsor (ranked 24961 p4p, 22483 weight class) and Pawel Nastula (ranked 389 p4p, 365 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gavin Windsor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 25 - 125 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pawel Nastula! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Alyssa Summers.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nastula shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Windsor's guard. Nastula trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Nastula works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Nastula is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Windsor as he works his way to full guard.
Windsor seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Nastula postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Windsor is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nastula, into his guard.
 Windsor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Nastula bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Windsor's guard.
 We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nastula would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Nastula drops back, looking for a kneebar! Windsor looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Windsor looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Windsor!

 That's one minute gone in the round. Windsor working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Windsor decides to stand up, so the ref orders Nastula to his feet. Windsor throws a sloppy head kick and Nastula moves out of range easily. Windsor shoots in but no luck this time.
Nastula closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Windsor quickly recovers to half guard.
Nastula seems to be working for a kimura but Windsor defends the submission attempt. Nastula trying to control from half guard but Windsor is working away.

Nastula has gone for a leg lock! Windsor slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nastula's guard.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Windsor preventing the sweep. Nastula being controlled here, momentarily. Windsor tries to stand but Nastula is controlling from the bottom. Nastula throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Windsor wants to stand but Nastula is controlling his posture from full guard. Nastula wants to hit a sweep here but Windsor passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Nastula there! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nastula is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nastula keeps trying to improve his position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gavin Windsor dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nastula tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Windsor tries to clinch but Nastula moves out of range. Nastula throws a counter combo. A punch combination from Windsor misses. Pawel Nastula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Windsor fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nastula tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Windsor defends well and Nastula ends up having to push Windsor into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Windsor misses with a few strikes there.
Nastula tries to counter by closing the distance. Windsor thows a leg kick but Nastula checks it
and Nastula counters with a single leg into guard. Windsor didn't expect that. Windsor is wriggling around but Nastula manages to pass to half guard.

 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Nastula misses. Nastula slips a jab and a cross from Windsor.
Windsor throws a right and a left that Nastula avoids nicely. Nastula thinks about the counter body kick. Windsor looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Nastula fails with the takedown. Windsor throws a big counter combination but Nastula scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Nastula closes the distance looking to clinch and Windsor counters with a one-two to the body. Windsor misses with a wild combination.
Nastula drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Nastula stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Windsor. No luck with that takedown attempt from Nastula. Gavin Windsor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pawel Nastula. Nastula misses with a head kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Windsor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Windsor misses with a few strikes there.
Windsor tries to close the distance and clinch but Nastula swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sloppy strikes from Windsor. Those never looked like landing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Windsor throws a series of punches but Nastula moves out of range. Nastula is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Nastula avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The fight stays on the outside here - Windsor looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A cross from Windsor lands. Sloppy strikes from Windsor. Those never looked like landing. Windsor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Windsor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Windsor is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nastula can do to turn this around? Nastula takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Nastula gets back to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Gavin Windsor showed his dominance in that final round. Well Windsor has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Gavin Windsor! Gavin Windsor really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Dont Strive To Survive logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
