The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Margarita or perhaps it was just good defense by Ortiz, which made it look bad.
Margarita misses with a combination
and Ortiz counters with a body kick that stops Margarita in his tracks momentarily.
Margarita stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ortiz.
Margarita throws a right hand that Ortiz ducks under and follows up with a left that Ortiz also avoids with ease.
Ortiz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ortiz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Margarita wants to get back to his feet but Ortiz is dominant here and he's now got Margarita's back!
