Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Howie Travis (ranked 2283 p4p, 21180 weight class) and Jingky Bacolod (ranked 111 p4p, 190 weight class). Bacolod comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Havana kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Howie Travis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 33 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jingky Bacolod!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bacolod shoots in for a double leg but Travis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bacolod wants to clinch up but Travis keeps it at a distance.
Bacolod will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A quick step to the side and Travis tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Travis lands a jab to the nose.
Bacolod takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Travis lands with a hook. Bacolod tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Travis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bacolod.
Travis throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bacolod on the side of the head.
It looks like Jingky Bacolod has been cut.
Travis lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Bacolod has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bacolod there as he acknowledges the shot.
Travis clobbers Bacolod with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Good standup being displayed there by Travis as he connects with a hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Travis lands an overhand right.
Travis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bacolod.
Howie Travis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jingky Bacolod.
Travis with a hook.
Travis lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Travis.

Bacolod on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Travis feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bacolods jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Travis digs a good hook to Bacolod's body.
Travis connects with the punch.
Bacolod drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Travis moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Travis scores with a sloppy right hand. Bacolod should have avoided that one.
Travis clinches with his opponent.
Travis breaks from the clinch.
Travis lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bacolod tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Travis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Travis connects with a crisp jab.
Bacolod wants to clinch.
Travis scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bacolod has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bacolod there as he acknowledges the shot.

Travis lands with a nice body punch.
Travis cracks Bacolod with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bacolod drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Travis connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bacolod. Bacolod circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Danga de danga de dang - Travis scores with a four punch combination!
Nice uppercut there from Travis.
That has opened up Jingky Bacolod's cut even more.
Travis lands a big right hand that sends Bacolod crashing to the mat! Travis stays standing though and waves Bacolod back to his feet!
Bacolod is rocked!
Travis darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Bacolod's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Travis before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Howie Travis!
In his post fight interview, Howie Travis started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
