Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Issac Jow (ranked 1909 p4p, 1819 weight class) and Rico Ventura (ranked 172 p4p, 168 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Issac Jow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rico Ventura!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ventura gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Ventura has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jow after a bit of a struggle.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ventura holds on and takes a little breather.

That was a close round but I would say that Issac Jow will probably get the nod.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jow controls Ventura momentarily but Ventura frees himself.
Jow seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Ventura wants to control from the top but Jow keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Jow shoots and misses
so Ventura counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Ventura got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jow has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ventura has managed to get both his arms back between Jow's legs - danger averted.
Jow working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ventura doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ventura manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rico Ventura comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ventura has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
