Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Terrell Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zap Pushkin!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pushkin scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Knight misses with a series of wild punches.
Pushkin lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Knight dips to his left and cracks Pushkin with an uppercut!
Knight gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pushkin counters with a leg kick.
Pushkin lands a left and a right that send Knight crashing to the mat, dazed. Pushkin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Terrell Knight has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Knight walks straight into a right hand from Pushkin - that's dropped him! Pushkin jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Knight from any more punishment! Knight complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Zap Pushkin!
After winning the bout, Zap Pushkin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
