Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank McCoy (ranked 3487 p4p, 22070 weight class) and Torsten Mjölnir (ranked 346 p4p, 449 weight class). Hank McCoy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hank McCoy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 33 - 0, fighting out of New York, Torsten Mjölnir! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mjölnir lands with a cross.
 It looks like Hank McCoy has been cut. Mjölnir misses with a hook. McCoy ducked under it nicely. McCoy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. McCoy ducks under a wild hook from Mjölnir. Mjölnir shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. McCoy fails with the takedown and Mjölnir counters with a nice uppercut. Mjölnir throws a hook to the side of McCoy's head but McCoy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. McCoy half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
McCoy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. McCoy trying to pass the guard but Mjölnir defending well. Mjölnir is trying to stand back up but McCoy is controlling him
McCoy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mjölnir sees it coming and defends easily. Mjölnir won't allow McCoy to pass to mount.
 That's one minute gone in the round. McCoy content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. McCoy trying to advance position but Mjölnir counters by regaining guard. McCoy sitting in guard here, content to control. McCoy is looking to advance position but Mjölnir has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
McCoy sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. McCoy keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. McCoy trying to control here.
McCoy controlling the position well. McCoy is trying to get back to full guard. McCoy moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. McCoy is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. McCoy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Mjölnir throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McCoy changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
McCoy shoots in and gets a takedown into Mjölnir's guard. McCoy prevents Mjölnir from getting back to his feet. McCoy advances position into side control!
McCoy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McCoy looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Torsten Mjölnir will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Hank McCoy's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Mjölnir pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
McCoy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mjölnir sprawls well initially but McCoy persists and gets the takedown into half guard. McCoy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. McCoy has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCoy content just to control the position here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. You get the feeling that Mjölnir really doesn't like being in this position too much.

McCoy working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McCoy controlling from mount.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McCoy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mjölnir can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

McCoy is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mjölnir to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mjölnir shrugs it off.

McCoy is working for a guillotine from mount but Mjölnir frees his head quite easily.
McCoy controlling from the full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mjölnir defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from McCoy. McCoy sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Hank McCoy dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Hank McCoy's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Mjölnir looks to throw the jab but McCoy is out of range.
McCoy scores with a takedown into Mjölnir's guard. McCoy trying to control but Mjölnir is working from the bottom. Hank McCoy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. McCoy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. McCoy slips nicely into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mjölnir tries to kick McCoy off but McCoy keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. McCoy moves nicely into side control.

McCoy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McCoy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Mjölnir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCoy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mjölnir is being controlled here.

McCoy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mjölnir knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. McCoy advances to full mount. McCoy looking to control and managing it successfully.

McCoy swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Mjölnir is now in McCoy's guard. A big mistake from McCoy there, giving up the dominant position!
McCoy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mjölnir postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Hank McCoy showed his dominance in that final round. I think McCoy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
