Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank McCoy (ranked 3487 p4p, 22070 weight class) and Torsten Mjölnir (ranked 346 p4p, 449 weight class). Hank McCoy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hank McCoy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 33 - 0, fighting out of New York, Torsten Mjölnir!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mjölnir lands with a cross.
It looks like Hank McCoy has been cut.
Mjölnir misses with a hook. McCoy ducked under it nicely.
McCoy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McCoy ducks under a wild hook from Mjölnir.
Mjölnir shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
McCoy fails with the takedown
and Mjölnir counters with a nice uppercut.
Mjölnir throws a hook to the side of McCoy's head but McCoy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
McCoy half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Mjölnir throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McCoy changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

McCoy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mjölnir sprawls well initially but McCoy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
McCoy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

You get the feeling that Mjölnir really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McCoy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mjölnir can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

McCoy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McCoy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mjölnir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCoy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
