Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Lesage (ranked 3422 p4p, 2895 weight class) and Michal Materlak (ranked 369 p4p, 324 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robbie Lesage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 19 - 4, fighting out of Sydney, Michal Materlak!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Materlak looks to score with a jab to the body but Lesage is just out of range.
Materlak throws a body shot but no joy.
Materlak bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Materlak! But no joy.
Materlak avoids the body shot from Lesage.
Lesage takes a swing at Materlak's ribcage but misses.
Materlak was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

You can see the frustration on Lesage's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

I really don't envy Lesage right now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
