Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quincy Veto!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veto connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Veto thuds his right hand into LaFleur's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Jean Francois LaFleur has been cut.
Veto throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Veto missing with a left hand there. LaFleur was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Veto with the inside leg kick.
Veto stuns LaFleur with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Veto avoids the body shot from LaFleur.
LaFleur ducks under a wild hook from Veto.
Veto throws a hook but LaFleur blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Veto misses with a right hand
and LaFleur counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Quincy Veto has been cut.
Veto throws a poor cross that misses
and LaFleur counters with a nice right hand that sends Veto toppling to the canvas! Veto scrambles and gets back to his feet - can LaFleur finish him?!
Veto is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Veto rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and LaFleur counters by clinching up.
Veto is still on wobbly legs! Can LaFleur finish him?
A short right hand to the side of the head by LaFleur.
LaFleur blocks an uppercut.
LaFleur works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
LaFleur blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round.
LaFleur lands on the inside with an uppercut.
LaFleur unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Veto! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but LaFleur is unloading with more strikes now! Veto drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jean Francois LaFleur!
