The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peters with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Peters throws a lazy right hand but Hanma sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Hanma throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Peters stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Yuujiro Hanma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters circle momentarily. Peters darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Hanma pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Peters back to the cage. Hanma follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Peters counters with a huge left! Hanma is in big trouble! He's backing up but Peters isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Hanma from any more damage. A dominating finish by Peters!
