Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Flynn Knightley (ranked 1438 p4p, 1566 weight class) and Pekka Haalvisto (ranked 140 p4p, 149 weight class). Haalvisto has chosen Fintelligens - Stockholm-Helsinki as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Flynn Knightley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pekka Haalvisto!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knightley shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Haalvisto is trying to defend but Knightley finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Haalvisto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knightley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Haalvisto can do anything to dispel that myth.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Knightley connects with a nice short shot to Haalvisto's temple.

Knightley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Haalvisto with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Knightley is nestled in close to Haalvisto, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

A big strike lands for Knightley! That's really hurt Haalvisto and he's turned his back - Knightley keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Knightley jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
