Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hammer Dean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Max Claxton!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Claxton misses with a body shot.
Max Claxton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Claxton swings for the body but Dean moves out of range.
Dean ducks right into an uppercut from Claxton.
Dean throws a series of punches but Claxton avoids them all with ease.
Claxton lands a really nice looking cross but Dean seems unphased.
Dean has closed the distance and engaged Claxton in a clinch.
Claxton has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dean uses from the top position.
Claxton has his hands on Dean's head, controlling the position.
Dean has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Claxton to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Dean is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Claxton pulls down on the head and he's put Dean to sleep! This one is all over!
