The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Leeuwenhoek gets in close and instigates a clinch. Leeuwenhoek is trying to drag Elvul to the mat but Elvul just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Leeuwenhoek is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Elvul gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Leeuwenhoek goes for a takedown attempt but Elvul pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
