Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Reese Remington (ranked 802 p4p, 1064 weight class) and Noah Gordon (ranked 104 p4p, 143 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Reese Remington! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Noah Gordon! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Remington lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Remington. Gordon avoids a kick to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gordon crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Remington - the referee stops the clock and Gordon gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Remington. Gordon manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Remington shoots in for a takedown but Gordon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Remington throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gordon swings for the body but Remington moves out of range.
Remington throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gordon's waist but Gordon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Remington off to one side. Remington closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Gordon cracks Remington with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Gordon connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Remington cracks Gordon with a good jab. Remington swings for the body but Gordon moves out of range.
Gordon changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Remington moves into the clinch. Gordon blocks an uppercut.
Gordon is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Remington pulls him back up using the underhooks. Gordon is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Remington is keeping busy.
Gordon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Remington tries to close the distance and clinch but Gordon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gordon! But no joy. Remington lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Gordon takes one on the chin but seems OK.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gordon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Gordon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Remington lands a nice looking body shot.
Remington fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gordon, pushing him back against the cage.
Remington breaks the clinch.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Remington. Remington moves out of range of the strikes. Remington is looking to counter the offense by Gordon and move into the clinch. Remington fails with the takedown enabling Gordon to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reese Remington. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Remington has closed the distance and engaged Gordon in a clinch.
Gordon throws a punch but it's blocked by Remington. A nice right hand lands inside from Remington. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Gordon.
Gordon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Remington is looking to clinch. Gordon swats away the attempt to clinch by Remington. It seemed like Gordon was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Remington moves into the clinch. Remington is working Gordon over against the cage. Remington tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A right handed body shot lands from Gordon.
Gordon effectively controlling the action here. A hook to the body from Gordon.
Remington pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Remington looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Remington tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gordon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Remington swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Gordon counters with a crisp one two that drops Remington! Gordon thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Remington to his feet! Remington is in big trouble!
 Remington is rocked! Remington is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Gordon doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Remington crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Remington's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Noah Gordon!
