Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sultan Aruzhan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chan Sung Jung!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Franklyn Lucas and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aruzhan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Aruzhan has his takedown stuffed
and Jung counters with a left and a right that stings Aruzhan.
Jung lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Aruzhan circles away quickly and effectively.
Aruzhan goes for a double leg but Jung avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jung continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sultan Aruzhan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jung drops back, looking for a kneebar! Aruzhan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Aruzhan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Aruzhan!

That was a close round but I would say that Sultan Aruzhan will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Aruzhan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
