Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orange Chicken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Landers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Landers has chosen The Sounds - Tony The Beat as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Orange Chicken! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brett Landers! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chicken shoots in for a takedown but Landers shows good takedown defense. Chicken throws a low kick but it's checked well by Landers. Landers decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Chicken moves into full guard.
Landers would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Landers stands up over Chicken, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Landers wants to stand and escape but instead Chicken has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Landers is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Chicken drops back looking for a leg! Landers is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Landers manages to kick Chicken off! Chicken jumps back into Landers's guard. Landers wants to stand and escape but Chicken is having none of it. Landers throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Landers can do anything to dispel that myth. Landers is looking to stand up but Chicken isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chicken trying to control the position from guard on top but Landers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chicken postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Landers bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Landers working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Chicken gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Landers missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Chicken has a hand on Landers's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Landers takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Chicken is wriggling around trying to escape.
Landers lands a heavy elbow. Landers lands a big elbow. Landers scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Landers goes for an armbar but Chicken turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Chicken.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Landers throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Landers looks gassed! Chicken trying to control but Landers is working from the bottom. Landers trying to keep a closed guard but Chicken is proving a slippery customer.
Chicken won't allow Landers to get back to his feet. Chicken controls from within his opponent's guard. Chicken wants to control from the top but Landers keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Landers keeping full guard, as Chicken tries to pass.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Landers has his takedown stuffed and Chicken counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Landers is wriggling around but Chicken manages to pass to half guard.
Landers is trying to stand back up but Chicken is controlling him
Chicken seems to be looking for submissions.
Landers tries to kick Chicken off but Chicken keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Chicken is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Chicken prevents Landers from standing back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Landers has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chicken is working away from the top position though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Landers closes the distance but Chicken moves to the side and Chicken counters with a single leg into guard. Landers didn't expect that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chicken is pushing down on Landers's leg trying to pass to half guard. Landers is fighting to maintain full guard but Chicken has managed to sneak the leg through. Chicken stops Landers from getting back to his feet.
Chicken is trying to control. Landers wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Landers wants to stand back up but Chicken manages to pass into side control.
Chicken working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Landers is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Chicken's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chicken wants to take a breather but Landers is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Orange Chicken will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Chicken shoots and misses and Landers counters with a nice double leg into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Landers with a flurry of punches that miss. Landers lands a couple of decent looking shots. Chicken is trying to keep Landers in close.
Landers decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Chicken doesn't succeed with the takedown and Landers counters by moving into the clinch. Landers lands with a right to the head. Landers lands a right hand that snaps the head of Chicken backwards. Landers lands a hook to the side of the head. Landers throws an elbow that misses.
Chicken blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Landers. Landers manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Landers feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Brett Landers has got the better of the ground game so far. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Landers stands and steps away. Chicken gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Landers clinches.

Landers postures up and lands a big shot to Chicken's brow. Chicken not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Landers closes the distance looking to clinch and Chicken counters with a shoot takedown. Landers fights it but they end up in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chicken stops Landers from standing up. Chicken trying to control but Landers is working from the bottom. Landers pushes Chicken off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Landers clinches up against the cage. Chicken tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Landers smiles and moves away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Landers is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Chicken off and has taken his back! Landers is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Landers is persistently looking for the submission but Chicken is defending it well.

Landers is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Landers keeping moving, preventing Chicken from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Landers is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Landers gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Chicken to score an easy takedown into full guard. Landers throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chicken slips nicely into half guard. Landers looks like he's trying to stand up.

Landers is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Landers manages to kick Chicken off! Chicken jumps back into Landers's guard. Landers had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Chicken is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Landers Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Chicken's back instead. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chicken covers up after that shot from Landers.

Chicken tries to hold on but Landers pushes him away. Landers putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Chicken is looking to get to half guard. Chicken takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
