Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riker displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Taylor throws out the jab.
Riker missing with a left hand there. Taylor was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Riker slips under a jab.
Riker looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Taylor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Riker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Taylor ducks under a wild hook from Riker.
Riker misses with a series of wild punches.
Riker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Taylor.
Riker misses the shot to the body.
Taylor misses with a hook. Riker ducked under it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taylor throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Riker throws out a loose jab but Taylor uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Taylor counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Riker tries for a takedown but Taylor circles away easily
and Riker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Taylor throws a sloppy head kick and Riker moves out of range easily.
Riker takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Riker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Riker keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Taylor.
Riker misses with a body shot.
Riker shoots in but Taylor avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Riker shoots in for a takedown but Taylor shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Riker. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Taylor throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Riker on the side of the head.
Riker takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Riker shoots in but Taylor avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Taylor bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Taylor is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Riker had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Kevin Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Taylor lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Taylor has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Taylor presses Riker against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Taylor cracks Riker with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Riker looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Taylor finish him?
Oh Riker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Taylor drops Riker with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Riker! Taylor dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
