Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Poppin Daddy (ranked 2825 p4p, 4760 weight class) and Gustavo Jesus (ranked 307 p4p, 410 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Poppin Daddy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gustavo Jesus!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daddy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Daddy seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Daddy scores with a nice strike.
Daddy thumps Jesus with a low kick.
Jesus tries to clinch there but Daddy circles away.

Jesus wants to clinch up but Daddy keeps it at a distance.
Jesus bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Daddy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Daddy scores with a head kick. Jesus tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Gustavo Jesus has been cut.
Daddy stuns Jesus with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jesus moves out of range as Daddy strikes.

Jesus moves in looking to clinch but Daddy pushes him off.

and Daddy counters with a slapping leg kick.

Jesus takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jesus tries to clinch but Daddy moves out of range.
It looked like Daddy was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jesus.
Jesus moves to clinch but Daddy breaks away
letting Daddy counter with a right hand.
Daddy cracks Jesus with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Jesus is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jesus tries to clinch there but Daddy circles away.
Daddy half committed to a counter leg kick.
Daddy throws a chopping leg kick but Jesus manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Jesus tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Daddy counters with a really nice, stiff jab that drops Jesus onto his ass. He'll have to take the mandatory count from the referee but he's back on his feet and he seems OK to continue.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Daddy connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Jesus onto his butt! Jesus bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.

Daddy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jesus looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jesus walks into a straight right hand and goes down! Daddy rushes to a neutral corner so the count doesn't get delayed but Jesus has made it back to his feet on 5. He's OK so we're back to the action.

Daddy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Jesus walks into a big right hand from Daddy and goes down! The referee sends Daddy to a neutral corner as Jesus gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Jesus tries to clinch but Daddy is having none of it.
Daddy swats away the attempt to clinch by Jesus.

Daddy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Daddy swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Daddy is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Daddy lands a head kick that sends Jesus down! Jesus is flopping around the mat trying to get back up, leaving the referee no choice but to wave off the fight! Daddy is victorious!
