Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lasse Savisto (ranked 2215 p4p, 2163 weight class) and Orlando Sanguinetti (ranked 247 p4p, 244 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lasse Savisto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 36 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Orlando Sanguinetti! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Savisto misses. We've been hearing reports that Savisto has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Sanguinetti slips a jab from Savisto.

Savisto is trying to trip Sanguinetti. He has hold of a leg but Sanguinetti is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Savisto persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Savisto trying to control but Sanguinetti is working from the bottom. Savisto wants to pass the guard but Sanguinetti is keeping the position. Sanguinetti really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Savisto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Savisto is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanguinetti has momentary wrist control but Savisto slips an elbow through the middle.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Savisto loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Sanguinetti wants to sweep but no luck. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sanguinetti can do anything to dispel that myth. Sanguinetti being controlled here, momentarily. Sanguinetti controls Savisto momentarily but Savisto frees himself. Savisto throwing strikes but missing. Savisto trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Savisto trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Sanguinetti manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Savisto seems keen to control Sanguinetti's posture. Savisto has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanguinetti tries to free his leg and advance position but Savisto is retaining full guard. Sanguinetti is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Sanguinetti tries to stand but Savisto is controlling from the bottom. Savisto has Sanguinetti pulled in close to control his posture.
Sanguinetti decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanguinetti misses with a hook from the clinch. A nice right hand lands inside from Savisto. Sanguinetti avoids the elbow strike from Savisto, against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Savisto decides to pull guard. Sanguinetti stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Savisto swivels though and keeps the full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Savisto is on top in guard.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Savisto controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sanguinetti controls Savisto momentarily but Savisto frees himself. Savisto trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Savisto slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Savisto in side control lands a decent elbow. Sanguinetti wants to control but Savisto postures up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Lasse Savisto dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Sanguinetti digs a good body shot into Savisto's ribs. Nice straight punches there by Sanguinetti. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sanguinetti. Sanguinetti throws a jab when Savisto was well out of range. Sanguinetti throws out a loose jab but Savisto uses good head movement to avoid it. Orlando Sanguinetti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A cross from Sanguinetti lands. Savisto throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice shot lands for Savisto.
 It looks like Orlando Sanguinetti has been cut. Sanguinetti throws a body shot but no joy. Savisto closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sanguinetti circles away. Sanguinetti throws the left hand but Savisto avoids the punch easily. Sanguinetti connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Savisto momentarily.
Savisto moves out of range of the strikes.
Savisto scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sanguinetti is letting Savisto control him for a moment. Savisto passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Sanguinetti!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Savisto controlling his opponent. Savisto lands a nice shot to the head. Savisto prevents Sanguinetti from getting the reversal. Sanguinetti taking shots to the head. Sanguinetti is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Sanguinetti tries to hold on but Savisto postures up. Savisto landing strikes from the mount. Sanguinetti is wriggling around trying to escape.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanguinetti keeps trying to improve his position. Savisto putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Savisto lands a big elbow. Savisto controlling from mount. Savisto unloading with bombs! Savisto with good strikes from the mount here! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Savisto landing strikes from the mount and Sanguinetti is in trouble!
 That has opened up Orlando Sanguinetti's cut even more. Savisto tries to control but Sanguinetti wriggling away. Savisto punishing his opponent with strikes.
 The cut above Orlando Sanguinetti's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Savisto is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sanguinetti can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
 Orlando Sanguinetti's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Orlando Sanguinetti's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Lasse Savisto! Lasse Savisto seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
