Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Givto Dapore (ranked 1530 p4p, 1505 weight class) and Eki Tantor (ranked 188 p4p, 187 weight class). Eki Tantor told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Givto Dapore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eki Tantor!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tantor misses with an uppercut.
Dapore swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Dapore takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Givto Dapore has been cut.
Tantor uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Dapore throws a jab when Tantor was well out of range.
Dapore on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Tantor cracks Dapore with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Dapore looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Tantor finish him?
Dapore is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dapore throws a hook to the side of Tantor's head but Tantor sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dapore rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Tantor counter with a right hand.

Tantor scores with a nice right hand.
Tantor cracks Dapore with an open hand slap.
Some wild striking there from Dapore.
Tantor lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Givto Dapore's cut is getting worse.
A swing and a miss from Dapore.
It seemed like Tantor was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Dapore throws a hook but Tantor blocks it.
Tantor appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Tantor misses with an uppercut. Dapore saw that one coming.
A lazy left from Tantor finds it's target.
Tantor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dapore has time to react.
Dapore is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Tantor wants to clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Dapore's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tantor connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dapore scrambles back to his feet.

Tantor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dapore was well out of range. Poor timing from Tantor.
Tantor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Dapore paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A quick step to the side and Dapore tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tantor lunges at Dapore with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dapore's hand.
Givto Dapore's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Tantor throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dapore stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dapore missing with a left hand there. Tantor was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
It seemed like Tantor was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Dapore takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dapore takes a shot right to the bread basket.

No joy there for Dapore, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dapore connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Dapore misses with a hook to the body
and Tantor counters by moving into the clinch.
Dapore breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tantor might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Dapore misses with a wild body shot.
Tantor let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dapore misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Tantor counter with a right hand.
Tantor is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Dapore had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Dapore throws a shot from downtown. Tantor moves away and avoids it.
Dapore throws a body shot but no joy.
Dapore takes one to the chin there.

Dapore throws a hook but Tantor avoids it easily.
Dapore lands a jab to the head.
Tantor jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jeez, Givto Dapore's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

A jab lands there for Tantor.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Givto Dapore's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
