The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kekoa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wilson Jr moves away.
Mister Wilson Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilson Jr defending well as Kekoa loads up on a big left hand.
Wilson Jr fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kekoa to the ground. Wilson Jr is now in Kekoa's guard.
Kekoa keeping moving, preventing Wilson Jr from controlling successfully.
Wilson Jr pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kekoa is keeping the position for now.
Wilson Jr passes Kekoa's left leg - he's now in half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilson Jr is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kekoa to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kekoa shrugs it off.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wilson Jr has hold of Kekoa's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kekoa manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wilson Jr fails to advance to Kekoa's back.
Wilson Jr takes Kekoa's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Kekoa is in trouble.
