Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Iroh Hokazono (ranked 4184 p4p, 4141 weight class) and Muya Koma (ranked 346 p4p, 343 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Iroh Hokazono!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Muya Koma!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hokazono throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Koma's waist but Koma gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hokazono off to one side.
Hokazono tries to clinch but Koma is having none of it.
Koma throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hokazono counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Koma swats away the attempt to clinch by Hokazono.
Koma stuffs the takedown attempt from Hokazono. Hokazono gets slowly back to his feet.

Koma shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Koma was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Koma landing a few strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Koma stands up and beckons Hokazono to his feet.
Hokazono shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Koma pinned against the ropes. Koma gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Iroh Hokazono. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hokazono.

Hokazono pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hokazono throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Koma rushes Hokazono and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Hokazono tries to pull guard but Koma forces him back to his feet, against the ropes.

Koma jumps guard and drags Hokazono to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Koma is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hokazono has his hands clasped together but Koma extends and breaks Hokazono's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Koma.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Muya Koma!
